HoYoVerse has announced significant quality of life enhancements for Honkai: Star Rail version 3.3, scheduled for release on May 21, 2025. Among these improvements, players will experience a streamlined notification system, expanded inventory capacity, and optimized update storage requirements.
Streamlined Notifications for a Better Experience
The upcoming update will transform how players interact with notifications through three key changes. These adjustments concern the in-game mobile interface, specific notices displayed within the game, and cross-device alerts.
- In-Game Phone Notifications: The red icons indicating new notifications will no longer clutter players’ phone menus. Instead, users will need to navigate to the respective section to view notifications, promoting a cleaner interface.
- In-Game Notices: Simply switching tabs or entering different sections will clear notices without additional prompts. For instance, notifications in the News section will automatically vanish upon viewing.
- Cross-Device Alerts: When acquiring new avatars or wallpapers, checking the notification on one platform will prevent subsequent alerts on other devices, minimizing distractions while switching between platforms.
Enhanced Storage Management for Updates
Additionally, the new version 3.3 will introduce a pre-installation feature that significantly reduces the space required for downloading update files. This improvement is designed to enhance the overall experience by providing players with a more efficient update process. This option will be conveniently located in the Settings menu under Language Settings, allowing for a seamless pre-installation experience.
