The day after attending the Miami Heat’s game, Andre Agassi once again appeared in Miami, this time at the 2024 Miami Open. He was in attendance at the women’s final between Danielle Collins and Elena Rybakina, gracing the event with his presence.

Collins secured her first WTA 1000 title and third overall by triumphing over Rybakina in the final with a score of 7-5, 6-3. She also became the first American woman to win the Miami Open since Sloane Stephens in 2018.

After her victory, Danielle Collins reflected on the surreal moment of having Andre Agassi observe her performance, revealing that his presence almost moved her to tears.

“When I saw Andre was watching the match, I almost teared up, I’m like, ‘This is surreal, I used to watch this guy on TV as a kid and now I’m here and he’s in the stands.’ It’s just been a crazy ride so I’m just so grateful,”she told the Tennis Channel.

Despite his withdrawal from this year’s tournament, Novak Djokovic shares the record for most men’s singles titles at the Miami Open with Agassi, who has triumphed six times in the Masters 1000 event. Agassi, who is no stranger to success at this tournament, has achieved great success at the Miami Open, just like Djokovic.

Despite Djokovic’s absence, fans are eagerly anticipating the title clash between Grigor Dimitrov and Jannik Sinner at the event. It remains to be seen if Andre Agassi will also be in attendance for the men’s final.
