“He’s Too Grown to Be in Denial”: Internet Reacts to Diddy’s Son Quincy Supporting All of the Rapper’s Kids

Following Diddy’s arrest in New York five weeks ago, his adopted son Quincy Brown—who is also Kim Porter’s child—published a statement expressing his support for his father while criticizing the “false narratives”circulating in the media. On Instagram, dated October 22, Quincy shared a photo of Combs alongside all his children, stating:

“The past month has been devastating for our family. Many have formed opinions about him and us based on unverified accusations, conspiracy theories, and exaggerated stories that have taken on a life of their own on social media.”

He further wrote:

“We remain united, supporting you at every turn. We cling to the truth, confident it will come to light, and nothing can undermine the unity of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”

Quincy’s post quickly garnered attention, leading some social media users to criticize his defense of Diddy. One individual suggested he was in “denial.”

Diddy’s children, including Quincy, Christian, Justin Combs, D’Lila, Jessie, and Chance Combs, have recently released a collective statement regarding their family’s circumstances during his incarceration while awaiting trial.

The six siblings shared a cohesive message on Instagram Tuesday, which was posted from Quincy’s profile, tagged with the accounts of Christian, Justin, D’Lila, Jessie, and Chance. The eldest children of Combs, aged between 17 and 33, expressed their intent to stand by their father.

This marks the first public response from Diddy’s children concerning his arrest on September 16. Reportedly, on October 10, some of the kids, including Chance, D’Lila, and Jessie, attended a status hearing in court.

Earlier, Quincy and his siblings had addressed rumors surrounding their late mother Porter’s supposed memoir that alleged she experienced sexual abuse at the hands of Combs.

Quincy, the biological son of Kim and Al B. Sure and Diddy’s adopted son, shared a joint statement with Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila on September 25. They announced their decision to clarify suspicions regarding their mother’s passing and her connection with the rapper, firmly stating that Porter did not author a memoir and that claims of possessing such a manuscript were unfounded.

Meanwhile, Al B. Sure, Quincy’s biological father, posted an Instagram story on September 25 featuring a video of Diddy and Quincy, suggesting Quincy might be a “Stockholm victim.”He had previously claimed on Instagram that Porter’s alleged memoir was fictional and shared insights on its purported original intent.

At present, Diddy is incarcerated and has yet to publicly respond to his children’s statements.
