“Love is Blind Habibi”made its debut on Netflix on October 10. This captivating reality series transcends borders, aiming to connect singles from the Arabian world by focusing on emotional connections that transcend mere physical attraction.

Among the engaged couples, Chafic and Dounia stood out for forming a unique bond within the show’s pods. They were part of a group that embarked on a holiday getaway to deepen their understanding of each other.

In the fourth episode, during their holiday’s opening day, the couples mingled, and Chafic spotted Nour upon her entrance. He informed Dounia that he might recognize Nour from their past interactions on Instagram. When Dounia inquired whether Nour remembered him, Chafic replied:

“I’m not sure. It was a while ago. I can’t tell if it’s her or not, but her face does seem familiar, you know?”

Chafic Reflects on His Prior Connection with Nour

As the fourth episode of “Love is Blind Habibi”concluded, the cast came together on the first day of their holiday trip. The couples warmly exchanged greetings and, for the initial time outside the pods, the men and women met face-to-face.

Upon Nour and Mido’s arrival, Chafic felt slightly snubbed when she greeted “everyone else”but him. This left him feeling somewhat disgruntled, prompting him to share his insight regarding his past with Dounia.

He pulled Dounia aside to disclose that he had previously interacted with Nour through Instagram. He explained that their communication occurred a long time ago, and he had little recollection of it now.

“Let me clarify something. That girl over there, Nour, we had some interactions on Instagram a while back. Honestly, it was such a long time ago; I don’t really remember,”Chafic told Dounia.

Chafic mentioned to his fiancée that Nour’s lack of acknowledgment upon her arrival puzzled him, leading him to abstain from greeting her as well. He speculated whether this behavior might relate to their past connection, alleging that she might be avoiding him due to their previous interactions not panning out.

Chafic then discussed the situation with the men, asserting to Mido that he was superior to Nour. He elaborated:

“I feel like she’s over the top because she greeted everyone else. Not shaking my hand felt disrespectful. You understand my point? We’re not children here.”

In a confessional, Chafic remarked that he found Nour to be excessive. He noted that she didn’t sit by Mido for long and would leave him every few minutes. Despite not wanting to speak poorly about her, he sensed that the couple lacked compatibility.

Later, Chafic pulled Nour aside to address why she hadn’t greeted him. He asked why she had shaken hands with everyone but him. In response, Nour expressed that she believed she had greeted everyone and had no intention of overlooking him.

Nour then indicated that Chafic seemed familiar and suggested they might have crossed paths before the show. He reminded her of their Instagram connection from the past.
