Heihachi Mishima will be available for early access on September 30, 2024, starting at 4 PM PDT, with the full release set for October 3, 2024, at 4 PM PDT. Alongside Heihachi, the update will also introduce the new Unforgotten Echoes story mode, a fresh stage, and a host of additional content. The inclusion of the Story Mode is particularly noteworthy.

The Unforgotten Echoes mode will allow players to utilize all three DLC characters, regardless of whether they own them or not, making for an excellent opportunity to experience these characters in intense battle scenarios. Players can test out Heihachi Mishima, Lidia Sobieska, and Eddy Gordo before deciding if they wish to unlock these formidable additions in Tekken 8.

Heihachi Mishima has undergone some positive changes, offering a fresh gameplay experience for players. He is designed to be more aggressive and provides an option for executing Electric Wind God Fists without requiring Perfect Inputs—albeit conditionally. Players can access his most powerful moves more easily when in Heat Mode.

With the incorporation of stance changes and devastating combos, both casual and veteran players are sure to enjoy stepping into the role of the true King of the Iron Fist. However, fans will need to be patient for about a week until the official launch arrives.
