Despite being the second-ranked featherweight kickboxing contender in ONE Championship, Marat Grigorian of Armenia humbly acknowledges that he was defeated by his longtime rival, Superbon Singha Mawynn, in their last match. As a seasoned fighter, Grigorian is determined to make amends for his loss and is eagerly looking forward to their upcoming rematch this weekend.

The main event of ONE Friday Fights 58 will feature Grigorian facing off against Superbon, the former ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion from Thailand in a highly anticipated rematch.

The event will be aired live from the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, April 5th. Grigorian and Superbon will both be competing for the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title.

During a recent interview with Sportsmanor, Grigorian discussed his upcoming fight against Superbon in 2022 and showed admiration for his opponent.

“There’s not much to say about that fight. He did a good job. I was at the time very prepared. He deserved to win. My body was just not working on the day. It’s not an excuse or anything.”
