“He Became a Victim of Propaganda”— Wack100 Claims Lil Durk Succumbed to Fan Pressure to ‘Slide for Von’

Wack100 recently shared insights regarding Lil Durk’s legal troubles stemming from his October 27, 2024, arrest on a murder-for-hire charge tied to an incident on August 19, 2022, which involved a botched attempt on Quando Rondo’s life. During a conversation with DJ Vlad, which was uploaded to VLADTV on October 29, Wack100 provided further details about Durk’s predicament.

Vlad remarked on Quando Rondo’s flourishing career, highlighting how he has garnered a substantial fanbase through his music and performances. He also reminisced about his past interactions with Lil Durk, stating:

“I’ve spent time with Durk. I’ve interviewed him twice and we’ve hung out occasionally. I don’t perceive him as the type of ruthless, gangster killer that some might suggest.”

Wack100 responded by dissecting how law enforcement operates, emphasizing their focus on an individual’s “conduct within legal parameters.”He elaborated on Durk’s case, mentioning:

“I think he became a victim of the negative narratives surrounding him, particularly regarding comments about avenging Von.”

It’s important to note that the assassination attempt against Rondo was allegedly orchestrated by Durk following the death of King Von in 2020. Known as Dayvon Daquan Bennett, Von was a key member of Durk’s rap group OTF and was reportedly shot by an associate of Rondo.

Wack100 comments on the shooting aimed at Quando Rondo

In his latest interview, DJ Vlad brought up the fact that the murder attempt on Quando Rondo led to unintended fatalities. However, Wack100 stated that he was unclear about the specific details of that day and added:

“The alarming factor is that intersection. You’ve got firearms equipped with switches. That location is heavily trafficked, and bullets were flying. It could have easily hit anyone there. Thankfully, that didn’t occur.”

During the altercation, Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab, was tragically shot and killed at a gas station close to Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Reports from Vibe magazine indicate that the assailants fled the scene in a white vehicle, and Pab was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following his arrest, Lil Durk’s honorary key to the Illinois Village of Broadview was revoked. This information was revealed via a Facebook update from Broadview Mayor Katrina Thompson on October 27. When Vlad raised this topic during the interview, Wack100 remarked:

“This is another devastating blow because that key represented an escape for many youth caught in the streets. That opportunity is now gone. You see Diddy facing his own challenges while Durk was just beginning to rise. There are claims about wiretaps and I think ultimately they zeroed in on him because they noticed his transition to a cleaner lifestyle.”

As reported, Lil Durk initiated the rap collective OTF, and recently, five members were apprehended on October 24 for alleged involvement in a plot to eliminate Quando Rondo. As noted by ABC News, a federal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court of the Central District of California on the same day accused OTF members of participating in criminal activities, including murder.
