“He attacks all parts of the body” – Kade Ruotolo wary of Franciso Lo’s wild submission-heavy style

Kade Ruotolo, the current ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion, is excited to face an opponent who shares his passion for seeking out submissions.

At ONE Fight Night 21: Eersel vs. Nicolas, airing on Prime Video this Friday, fans can expect to see the highly skilled and talented 21-year-old BJJ prodigy back in action. He will face off against Francisco Lo in an all-grappling match at a 180-pound catchweight.

Despite being new to the world’s largest martial arts organization, Lo has already made a name for himself in the grappling scene.

The determined 23-year-old Brazilian is renowned for his unwavering drive to secure submissions in ‘The Gentle Art,’ as he is frequently observed linking together outrageous techniques from his back or completing them from a dominant position.

With Lo’s determination to go full throttle throughout the entire match, Kade Ruotolo can’t contain his excitement for the thrilling match-up that awaits him.

The Atos standout, during an interview with the South China Morning Post, promised an incredible performance of grappling at the renowned Lumpinee Stadium, also known as ‘The Mecca of Muay Thai.’ He stated:

“I’m super excited especially because of the match-up. I know Francisco is an exciting match-up. He throws kind of a caution to the wind and throws out crazy submissions like jumping triangles, flying triangles, foot locks. He kind of attacks all parts of the body. So it will be an entertaining match-up for sure.”

The upcoming ONE Fight Night 21 will be broadcasted live on US Primetime on April 5, at no additional cost for current members of Prime Video in North America.
