GUNNIR, a prominent partner of Intel, is set to unveil its Intel Arc B580 GPU shortly after Intel’s highly anticipated reveal of the Battlemage GPU series.
GUNNIR’s Latest Teaser: Anticipating a Customized Intel Arc GPU
With just a day to go before Intel unveils its next-generation Battlemage GPUs, several board partners are already preparing their tailored versions of these graphics cards. Among them, ASRock has introduced its Steel Legend Arc B580 and Challenger Arc B570 models. Meanwhile, Maxsun is poised to showcase a distinctive triple-fan design when Intel presents its reference edition.
Although GUNNIR was the first to announce a custom version of the Arc Battlemage GPU, they just shared a fresh teaser highlighting the graphics card from various perspectives. The posts displayed on Weibo feature shots of the GPU’s heatsink fan and side view, showcasing the heatsink design along with the Intel Arc branding.
The initial teaser released three days ago confirmed an official launch date of December 4th, 2024, which is one day after Intel’s product reveal. The teaser read (translated from Chinese):
(New Product Countdown 3 Days) Overclocking is released and you can feel the extraordinary power.
This seems to hint that GUNNIR’s Arc Battlemage GPU will feature factory overclocking capabilities, or at least have the potential for manual overclocking that could push clock speeds beyond 2.8 GHz. While it remains unclear whether GUNNIR will be showcasing the Arc B580 or B570, most leaks indicate that the focus will be on the Arc B580.
The latest teaser also emphasizes the GUNNIR branding on the fan, stating:
(New Product Countdown 2 Days) In silence, explore the secret of excellent performance.
The Intel Battlemage series is built on the Xe2-HPG architecture, featuring 20 Xe2 cores in the B580 and 18 Xe2 cores in the B570 version. These budget-friendly offerings include 12 GB and 10 GB GDDR6 memory, respectively. We have previously examined the specifications of these models in detail, which appear to be finalized based on official ASRock data sheets.
