However, the first step is to unlock the basement door, which itself is a puzzle.
This guide will take you through the steps necessary to access the basement in the KGB safe house within the Black Ops 6 campaign.
Unlocking the Basement Doors at the KGB Safe House in Call of Duty Black Ops 6
Before diving into your first puzzle in Black Ops 6, it’s crucial to realize that you must unlock two doors to reach the basement. Let’s begin with the first door, located near the piano. Follow the steps outlined below:
- Step 1 – Head to the piano room.
- Step 2 – Locate and grab the black light placed on the table beside the piano.
- Step 3 – Activate the black light and shine it on the walls of the piano room. You’ll discover various codes (in Russian) marked with numbers indicating their sequence and arrows leading to the next.
- Step 4 – Record the codes in the correct order.
- Step 5 – Interact with the piano.
- Step 6 – Keep the black light on to find the piano keys that correspond to the codes you noted.
- Step 7 – Play the notes in the sequence of the codes.
If you have completed this process accurately, a nearby door next to the piano should unlock, granting you access to the basement. Unfortunately, there’s another locked door to contend with there. To open the final basement door within the safe house at the start of your Black Ops 6 campaign, adhere to the following steps:
- Step 1 – Proceed to the boiler room inside the safe house.
- Step 2 – Identify three items: the Fuel Valve (left), Boiler Valve/Water Line (middle), and Pilot Light (right).
- Step 3 – Adjust the Boiler Valve to turn off the water.
- Step 4 – Manipulate the Fuel Valve so that the indicator on the left sets itself to the halfway mark.
- Step 5 – Interact with the Pilot Light; if done right, it should display green and remain that way.
- Step 6 – Switch the Boiler Valve back on completely.
