How to Trigger the Fell Omen Raid

Due to the unpredictable nature of Elden Ring Nightreign, the occurrence of events—including the Fell Omen Raid—is inherently random. The only constant is the Nightlord you select before embarking on your adventure.

Importantly, there are no set criteria for triggering the Fell Omen Raid; it can strike at any moment with the sole exception of Day 3 when you face the Nightlord. Based on my observations, it appears that the raid might happen approximately once every 5 to 10 runs, although I’ve faced it in consecutive expeditions, emphasizing the role of random number generation (RNG) in this thrilling game.

Understanding the Fell Omen Raid

The encounter with the Fell Omen Raid is heralded by Margit, The Fell Omen, who initiates the battle with atmospheric dialogue as the screen darkens and fog envelops the area. As soon as you witness this scene, it’s time to gear up for the impending fight.

Once the raid commences, one member of your squad will be marked with a distinctive red circle, signaling Margit’s target. This marking indicates heightened aggression from the boss towards that player.

If you find yourself designated by the red circle, it’s advisable to maintain a safe distance while drawing Margit’s attention, allowing your teammates the opportunity to strike. As Margit diverts his focus, you can capitalize on the moment to deliver damage.

Notably, aside from this marking, the Fell Omen Raid resembles a conventional boss battle, albeit one that poses significant challenges.Ultimately, the objective is to overcome Margit in combat.

Rewards for the Fell Omen Raid

a significant quantity of Runes and a permanent Power buff for your squad. Upon completing the raid, players are greeted with the message “Power Gained”on their screens.

This Power enhances your attack strength for each new Site of Grace discovered during your current run in Elden Ring Nightreign. Importantly, the boost applies only to newly activated Sites, as previously discovered ones do not contribute to this enhancement.

To identify if you’ve stumbled upon a new Site of Grace, listen for the distinctive sound it makes when approached. Activating this Power can dramatically improve your team’s capability, particularly by Day 3, and will influence strategic planning as you map out your expedition routes.

However, should your entire team fall during the raid, a negative consequence is incurred.Failure results in an enhanced damage intake for the team, thereby increasing the difficulty of subsequent encounters in the expedition.
