If you’re curious about how to initiate the Shattered Space questline in Starfield, you’ve come to the right place. Nearly two years post-launch, Starfield is gearing up for its first major DLC expansion. With the arrival of Shattered Space on the horizon, fans are certainly eager to discover how to embark on this new questline. How to Access Shattered Space in Starfield?

To access the Shattered Space in Starfield, the developers suggest leveling up your character to at least Level 35. Once you’ve achieved the necessary level, follow these steps to enter Shattered Space in Starfield:

  • Progress through the main questline until you have the freedom to explore anywhere in the galaxy; if you’re at Level 35, you’ve likely surpassed this milestone.
  • While navigating with your ship, execute a gravity jump to reach any orbit.
  • Ensure that the orbit you choose is not currently associated with an ongoing mission.
  • At this point, expect to receive a distress signal from a distant space station known as The Oracle.
  • Respond to the distress call, and your journey into Shattered Space should begin in Starfield.

Do You Need to Purchase the Shattered Space DLC in Starfield?

If you own the Standard Edition or are playing through Xbox Game Pass, you will need to purchase the DLC, which is priced at $29.99. However, if you already possess the Constellation Edition, the premium version of the game, you’ll be able to download this new DLC entirely free of charge.

It’s worth noting that if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can receive a 10% discount on the DLC. Unfortunately, those who own the standard version will not benefit from this discount when looking to purchase Shattered Space in Starfield.
