While I haven’t performed a precise measurement, it’s evident that the newly launched Feybreak update boasts a larger island compared to Sakurajima. This makes the anticipation for exploration even more exciting!
If you’re among those who have just embarked on the Feybreak adventure and are curious about the location of this enigmatic island, you’re in the right place. Though there are few new Pals to capture, the vast and stunning new areas to discover are sure to enrich your gameplay experience.
Prepare your bags with necessary gear like spheres, ammo, and food items because we’re about to embark on a thrilling new journey!
Preparing for Exploration
Before you reach the initial Fast Travel teleporter on Feybreak Island, it’s essential to prepare adequately. While I’m confident you’ve acquired a Jetragon by now, a ground mount is highly recommended due to the island’s defenses against flying creatures, including unexpected anti-air missiles.
Indeed, there are missiles designed to target flying Pals. Unless you deactivate these threats, your aerial adventures will be short-lived. It’s prudent to bring ample supplies to build a Palbox.
I suggest establishing a base camp near Hexolite Quartz veins to facilitate passive farming of essential new ores. Given that you’ll need materials from Feybreak Island for crafting, a base here will prove invaluable.
For your convenience, here’s a preparatory checklist of essential items to consider before setting off:
Items |
Purpose |
---|---|
Palbox Materials |
For establishing a new base |
Food |
To sustain characters and Pals |
Highest Quality Spheres |
To capture new Pals |
Weapons |
To defend against NPCs and hostile Pals |
Locating Feybreak Island
Double-check your gear before setting off—it’s not mandatory to strictly follow my list. Pack according to your survival needs!
Your first task will be to establish a base for crafting the newly unlocked items found in the Technology tab. Make sure your base is strategically located near the spawns of Hexolite Quartz, Chromite, and Nightstar sand.
It’s time to venture to Feybreak Island! The ideal starting points for your exploration are the Beach of Everlasting Summer or the Fast Travel points at Fisherman’s Points.
If you choose the Beach of Everlasting Summer as your launching pad, simply head south on your mini-map to arrive at the Scorched Ashland Fast Travel point. Alternatively, if you opt for Fisherman’s Points, navigate southwest to reach your destination.
Though other Fast Travel points are available throughout the island, I highly recommend starting at Scorched Ashland. This location provides ample space for you to acclimate to a ground mount and hunt for those pesky anti-air missiles.
Navigating Anti-Air Missiles
Shortly after arriving on Feybreak Island, I encountered a warning indicating a restricted flying zone. I can’t recall the precise phrasing, but let’s just say my Jetragon became a target for numerous missiles, resulting in a crash landing.
Throughout my attempts to deactivate all the anti-air missiles, I’ve likely lost over ten Jetragons. These defenses can be incredibly frustrating!
To prevent your Pals from facing a similar fate, I strongly recommend locating all 22 missile towers to allow your Pals to soar freely. Approach the towers via a ground mount, or briefly utilize a Flying Pal to bypass the warnings and hack them for permanent deactivation. Expect some resistance along the way, but I have faith in your abilities to handle it!
