Although the Halloween festivities have wrapped up, fans of Monopoly Go can still enjoy a thrilling experience with the newly launched Haunted Mansion event. This exciting update challenges players to embark on ghost-hunting adventures starting this week.

Similar to the Partner Events and Racers Events already featured in the game, the Haunted Mansion event encourages players to collaborate with friends or fellow gamers. Together, you can complete challenges and earn a variety of exclusive rewards.

Kickstarting the Haunted Mansion Event

To get started with the Haunted Mansion event, you must gather a team of eight players. Simply tap on the center of the game board, where you’ll find a plus icon and empty player profile spaces. Once there, tap the plus icon to view a list of potential teammates. If you’re unable to fill all eight spots before the event begins, don’t worry—Monopoly Go will automatically fill in the remaining slots with available players.

Understanding Event Currency

Once your team is set, the next step is to gather the necessary currency specific to the Haunted Mansion event. This currency, resembling a compass marked with a prominent “M”, is essential for advancing through the event. Players can acquire it through various means: completing Quick Wins, claiming the free gift that refreshes every eight hours in the Monopoly Go Shop, or advancing through different in-game events.

Engaging in the Haunted Mansion Event

Once in the Haunted Mansion, players will navigate through various levels, each presenting distinct objectives and milestones to achieve essential progress. To advance, players must interact with various objects using their collected currency while participating in a captivating card-based mini-game.

This mini-game bears resemblance to Blackjack, where players choose from sets of two random cards, each linked to a numerical value. For instance, if you select a set numbered 18, your drawn cards must sum to at least 19 to succeed. Successfully completing a card draw contributes to your progress bar, bringing you closer to achieving specific milestone goals.

The dynamics of the card-drawing experience change based on your win streak, introducing a layer of strategy and excitement. Furthermore, various boosts can enhance your chances of success, while precious treasures hidden throughout the mansion may only be claimed by one player. Ultimately, your goal is to confront and defeat the resident ghost haunting the mansion.

The Haunted Mansion event boasts an array of enticing rewards, including free dice and numerous in-game items. As players progress, they can unlock various tiers of rewards, which are earned based on your success in the event.

The Haunted Mansion event is available for a limited time, running from Thursday, December 12, 2024, to Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
