Each player will need their own accounts, which means both separate console profiles and distinct Activision accounts. Additionally, a stable internet connection is mandatory, as offline split-screen functionality is not available in Black Ops 6; be prepared to encounter bots during your split-screen matches instead of live players.

To seamlessly set up split-screen in Black Ops 6, follow these steps:

Launch Black Ops 6 on your console (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
Select either the Multiplayer mode or Zombies from the main menu, as both options support split-screen play.
Once you’re in the lobby of your chosen game mode, connect your second controller and ensure it is properly paired.
Upon connecting the second controller, you will be prompted to log in to a user profile. Ensure this profile is a full user account, not a guest account.
