Equip your diving gear, leap from your boat, and swim down into the large chasm at the ocean’s floor, which will lead you to a danger sign—turn right here and be cautious of mines, which can kill you instantly upon explosion.

After some swimming, you will find yourself in the Desolate Pocket area within the Desolate Deep, where a merchant sells various items and fish can be caught. Look for a sleeping fisherman, then move right until you spot a large rock platform extending into the water (refer to the image above).

Put on your diving gear again and leap into the water from the edge of the platform. You’ll need to locate the cave entrance on the wall directly ahead. It’s situated towards the left side of the wall, just behind a skeleton. Swim through the narrow passage to enter a circular chamber featuring five pedestals and a large door adorned with an eye. The Trident Rod is hidden behind this door.
