To truly enhance their performance, you’ll need to integrate various Gear pieces that can boost their attributes even further. This system closely resembles the equippable item mechanics found in other gacha games, yet distinctively hinges on the acquisition of Gear Templates, which are essential for building Gear. This aligns closely with Endfield’s overarching factory management mechanics, adding another dimension to gameplay.

Unlocking Gear Templates in Arknights Endfield

As you embark on your journey in Arknights Endfield, players will initially unlock a range of basic Gear Templates by simply raising their Authority Level. It’s important to note that while you will gradually gain more Templates through gameplay, some will require exploration or purchase as the narrative unfolds, meaning that access to the most proficient equipment will depend on your progression in the storyline.

Gear Templates serve as crafting recipes required to create all available gear for your Operators. To start crafting Gear, you must engage AIC mode and select the Gear Assembly option located in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

Understanding Gear Rarity

Gear in Arknights Endfield is categorized by four distinct rarities:

Grey/Green
Blue
Purple
Gold

Each Gear piece imparts valuable bonuses to your Operators’ core stats, with higher rarity Gear yielding greater enhancements. Additionally, Gear Sets offer unique set bonuses that can significantly amplify your Operators’ capabilities, making the strategic selection of Gear sets essential to effective buildcrafting in Endfield.

Notably, the stats associated with Gear are fixed, which means you won’t need to fret about achieving the perfect stat rolls. However, if you’re eager to optimize your Gear further, you can unlock the Artificing feature as you progress through the story.

Crafting Gear Guidelines

All Gear must be crafted through the Gear Assembly menu. To fabricate new equipment, you’ll require specific resources, which can only be gathered from your Automated Industry Complex (AIC), also known as your base factory.

Please be aware that different tiers of Gear necessitate various types of resources. It’s crucial to stay vigilant and monitor your AIC’s output. Whenever you uncover a new resource type, make it a priority to incorporate it into your logistics chain.
