Initiating the Quest
To start Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery, approach Sasse, a woman accompanied by a Manectric, who is located just south of Wild Zone 7. Upon speaking with her, she will express her desire to find a specific bench situated on a rooftop, where a picture of Canari and her Eelektross was taken recently. Your only clue is the mysterious photograph she provides.
Locating Canari’s Bench
The bench you seek is positioned on a nearby rooftop. Refer to the map you acquired to guide your way, using a ladder to ascend to the rooftop area. Once at the top, head to the right and ascend further to the upper level, where you will discover two benches situated side by side.
Make sure to interact with the right bench—this is Canari’s bench. Doing so will activate a cutscene featuring Sasse and her Manectric.
Capturing the Perfect Photo of Sasse
Upon finding the bench, Sasse will request that you take a photograph of her and her Manectric from the same angle used when Canari’s picture was taken. You will need to navigate to a balcony on a nearby building that overlooks the bench.
Follow the route highlighted in the provided screenshots to reach the balcony. Once there, move toward the railing to find Sasse and her Manectric seated on the bench below.
Stand close to the metal railing on the left side until you see the “Take Photo” prompt appear. Press A to capture the image, and a cutscene will conclude the quest.
Be aware that there are two points on the balcony where the “Take Photo” option may appear. One will yield the correct angle for the photo—if you select the wrong spot, Sasse will guide you to try again, with no penalties for errors.
Upon successfully completing Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery, Sasse will reward you with:
