To begin your quest to get the Lady Vengeance sailing, tackle the puzzle elements scattered throughout the ship. Start by searching the bodies of magisters and gheists on the deck for valuable items and hints. One significant find is a Sodden Diary, which contains the password necessary to unlock a specific door in the ship’s cabin.

In addition to this password, you will also need to acquire a Strange Gem to interact with the door effectively.

Be on the lookout for a magic mirror located south of the stateroom doors. This mirror allows for unlimited character respecs. If you opt to persuade the second door, this mirror will help you adjust abilities for a successful check.

With the password secured, proceed to enter the ship’s quarters to locate the next essential item needed for accessing the Portside Stateroom door. While here, take the time to engage with the NPCs, and consider adding suitable companions to your party for further adventures.

Your first stop should be Bishop Alexander, who is incapacitated and wearing a Source collar. Interact with him to reveal investigative dialogue options. Select “Look closely at his simple Regalia“to uncover the Strange Gem.

After acquiring the gem, make your way back to the Stateroom door. When you interact with the southern door, it will recognize the gem you possess. To unlock it, use the password you previously learned from the Sodden Diary. Choosing the option including “Fortitude“will grant you access to Dallis’ cabin, where more challenges await.

Inside Dallis’ cabin, you’ll also discover a concealed hatch guarded by two deadly gheists and a Teleportation Prism.

Having obtained the melody necessary to navigate, make your way back to the ship’s deck and speak with Malady. Inform her of your discovery regarding the tome, which will prompt her to ask you to perform the song for the ship. Next, head to the western side of the deck to locate the dragon figurine. Interacting with it will prompt you to sing the song, allowing the Lady Vengeance to respond and open up further exploration into the ship before you embark on your next adventure in the world of the Godwoken.
