This Curio is essentially locked behind one of the game’s optional “secret areas.”Accessing the secret area requires the completion of a relatively lengthy and obscure NPC questline known as the Venom Daoist questline in Chapter 4, titled The Webbed Hollow.

Where to Locate the Celestial Registry Tablet in Black Myth Wukong?

The Celestial Registry Tablet can be discovered inside a treasure chest located in the Purple Cloud Mountains, the secret area within Chapter 4 (The Webbed Hollow). However, before you can access the Purple Cloud Mountains, you must first complete the Venom Daoist’s questline and defeat him twice at different locations throughout the chapter.

Your first encounter with the Venom Daoist occurs near the Pool of Shattered Jade, which can be accessed from the initial Keeper’s Shrine within the Webbed Hollow. Upon defeating the Venom Daoist near the Pool of Shattered Jade, you’ll meet him again near the Court of Illumination Keeper’s Shrine.

After defeating the Venom Daoist for the second time, he will disclose the route to the Purple Cloud Mountains, which leads to the Celestial Registry Tablet. Here are the steps to acquire the Celestial Registry Tablet in Black Myth Wukong:

• Defeat the Venom Daoist near the Pool of Shattered Jade.
• Proceed to the Court of Illuminations Keeper’s Shrine.
• From the Shrine, head southeast until you find a cave-like arena.
• Defeat the Venom Daoist in the cave to unlock your way to the Purple Cloud Mountains.
• Continue through the Purple Cloud Mountains until you reach Daoist Mi.
• Optionally, speak to Daoist Mi, then head northeast from his location.
• You will soon arrive at a small gazebo guarded by two spider-like foes.
• Defeat these enemies and enter the gazebo to locate a treasure chest.
• Open the treasure chest to claim the Celestial Registry Tablet.

The Celestial Registry Tablet proves invaluable during New Game+ cycles in Black Myth Wukong.
