Among these characters is Prudence Rook from Datlow Hall, who provides you with an opportunity to explore her domain — with one significant exception: the mysterious conservatory. What secrets are concealed behind its doors?
To gain access to the Datlow Hall Conservatory Key, your journey will lead you to locate the Groundskeeper, Jenks. Below is a comprehensive guide on how to gain entry to the Datlow Hall Conservatory in Atomfall.
Unlocking the Secrets of the Datlow Hall Conservatory
Your adventure begins by engaging in conversation with Prudence Rook inside Datlow Hall. It’s evident that she lives in her own world, oblivious to the quarantine surrounding the area. She does, however, grant you the freedom to explore most of the hall, as long as you avoid the conservatory.
Prudence explicitly states that only the groundskeeper, Jenks, possesses the key to this elusive location. At this juncture, you can attempt to persuade her that you are, in fact, Jenks, but be warned — this method may feel a bit underhanded. Based on personal experience, I opted not to test this route, but we will update this guide with confirmation if this tactic proves successful in obtaining the key prematurely.
Instead of opting for trickery, I probed further about Jenks during our conversation. Prudence eventually divulged that he is currently visiting Casterfell Dam, situated to the north-west of Datlow Hall. That is your next destination.
Upon reaching Casterfell Dam, you will discover Jenks located to the east. Sadly, he’s not returning to Datlow Hall anytime soon. Collect the letter from his body and make your way back to Prudence to relay what you’ve uncovered.
Surprisingly unfazed by the news, Prudence immediately recruits you as Jenks’s replacement — even mistakenly calling you by his name. In gratitude, she hands you the Conservatory Key, granting you access to its secretive contents.
Unfortunately, your explorations within the conservatory may yield fewer surprises than anticipated. You will find what appears to be the bones of Charity — a resident of Datlow Hall mentioned by Prudence — along with an “I Hear The Voices”note that could lead you to your next quest. Additionally, there are ample supplies available, including a Stealth Manual that unlocks new skills for your character.
