This update includes the arrival of a new Mineshaft, which players can access, albeit after a bit of effort. Entering the Chasm and Locating the Mineshaft in Fisch
To gain access to the Chasm, players must first obtain Merlin’s Veil. This requires completing Merlin’s Quest in Fisch and supplying him with all the colored shards collected along the way. Engage in conversation with Merlin to initiate the opening of the Rift. Every half hour, a new Rift will become available for entry, inviting players to discover a shard. After obtaining the shard, ensure to hand it over to Merlin.
Once you’ve collected all the required shards, speak to Merlin again and select the option to enter the Chasm: “I need to enter The Chasm.” Merlin will grant you the ‘Merlin’s Veil’ buff, allowing you entry into the Chasm for a span of five minutes. To access the Chasm, head behind Merlin while at the ocean and follow the GPS coordinates: -855.8, 125.2, -971.1 for a swift arrival.
Keep in mind that the Merlin’s Veil buff lasts for a mere 5 minutes. You can monitor remaining time through the countdown displayed above your XP counter. After utilizing the veil, a waiting period of 30 minutes is mandated before you can acquire it again. However, once you’ve entered the Mineshaft, feel free to explore to your heart’s content.
