Upon advancing to the late-game in 99 Nights in the Forest, players gain the opportunity to uncover the enigmatic Anvil that has intrigued them throughout their journey.
Locating the Anvil in 99 Nights in the Forest
To successfully access the Anvil, players must complete several prerequisites:
- Upgrade your campfire to the maximum level of 5.
- Acquire a sufficiently powerful axe to dismantle the wooden blockade at the entrance.
- Possess a weapon strong enough to defeat not just three cultists inside, but also the alpha wolves that guard the entrance.

The map you received at the start of your adventure features an Anvil icon marked with an exclamation point, located a significant distance away from your campsite.
To reach the Anvil, it is essential to level up your campfire to level 5 and follow the map marker until you arrive at a tall cylindrical structure – the Anvil Building.

The Anvil Tower is safeguarded by formidable alpha wolves known for their tenacity and ability to track player characters relentlessly. You can either confront them directly or employ tactics to reposition them out of fight range while you work on your objectives.

Next, use your axe to clear the tough wooden barricade that blocks the entrance. Keep in mind that using a basic axe will significantly prolong this task, so a stronger axe is advisable depending on your current game stage.
Inside, players will confront three cultists. While they may seem manageable, it’s wise to engage them in isolated confrontations to avoid overwhelming damage from multiple attackers.
After dealing with the cultists, investigate the shadowy anvil outline marked on the ground in front of you.
Repairing the Anvil in 99 Nights in the Forest
To restore functionality to the Anvil, you need to locate three distinct components scattered around the tower:
- Anvil Base
- Anvil Front
- Anvil Back
The Anvil Base is typically situated on the ground floor, near the outline of the Anvil.
To access the remaining parts of the Anvil, players must ascend the green vines to the higher sections of the tower.

Upon reaching the upper levels of the tower, you can collect the Anvil Front and Back before returning to the outline to repair the Anvil!
What Benefits Does the Anvil Provide in 99 Nights in the Forest?
Once the Anvil has been restored, players unlock access to three valuable crafting recipes, enabling the creation of items that would otherwise be difficult to obtain.
These items include a Hammer, which facilitates the relocation of placed structures, Bandages for healing yourself and allies, and the powerful Chainsaw.

The first two items are relatively easy to craft, while the Chainsaw necessitates late-game materials, primarily Bear Pelts. These can be found in the vicinity of the prisons containing the last two missing children, as well as in the depths of the forest you gained access to by upgrading your campfire to level 5.
Additionally, reaching the maximum level for your campfire unlocks new badges in the lobby of 99 Nights. Be sure to return to the waiting area to redeem your badges and collect those coveted free diamonds!
