Each approach has its strengths and weaknesses, so let’s delve into how to enroll in university in inZOI without further ado.
Steps to Enroll in University in inZOI
To initiate the application process for university or any job, your Zoi’s smartphone is essential. This can be accessed via the pink flip-phone icon located next to their portrait at the bottom of the screen. Simply click the icon or press P on your keyboard.
Once the phone interface pops up on the right side of your screen—designed to resemble a smartphone’s home screen—locate the School app, identifiable by the graduation cap icon. Select this option to commence your application to university.
University enrollment in inZOI includes four levels of schooling; elementary, middle, and high school cater to specific age groups. For young adult Zois, the game begins with a high school diploma already listed on their Zoi Card under the Education section.
It’s important to highlight that only young adult Zois are eligible to apply for university. If a Zoi transitions into adulthood while enrolled, they will automatically graduate.
Choosing a University
The university options available to your Zois depend on their residential city. For instance, Zois based in Dowon can apply to the Youngsung School, while those in Bliss Bay can opt for Bliss Bay Public School. It’s noteworthy that these institutions may adopt different names when applying for related teaching positions, and changes in nomenclature might occur as the game progresses.
When applying, Zois have three majors to consider: Business Administration, Computer Science, or Multimedia Arts. Choose a major by selecting it and clicking the Apply button. Much like job applications, university acceptance is immediate. Should you wish to change majors, the same application process applies; however, be cautious as switching majors resets your Zoi’s academic progress.
Keep in mind that if your Zoi is employed—full-time or part-time—applying to university will automatically terminate their current job, without prior warning. Similarly, if your Zoi applies for a job while enrolled, they will be withdrawn from university, but you’ll receive a notification before any change takes effect.
Understanding University Life in inZOI
As of now, the specific advantages of attending university in inZOI remain somewhat ambiguous. It’s unclear whether obtaining a degree will lead to enhanced job opportunities or higher salaries for your Zois. However, Zoi Cards feature an educational section, suggesting that a university degree may carry some weight moving forward.
Functioning mainly as a three-day-a-week commitment, university in inZOI resembles a rabbit hole career but without the salary. Zois can engage in activities outside their class schedule to boost their performance, paralleling a traditional job environment.
After equivalent six-day attendance (approximately two weeks in-game), student Zois will receive a text confirming their graduation. This graduation process also occurs if a Zoi ages up from a young adult to an adult while still enrolled.
In the event that your Zoi decides to leave university prematurely, they can choose the Drop Out option (highlighted with a blue button and white cross) within the My Information tab of the School app. This action will have the same implications as if they had left to pursue a job—removing them from university instantly—but they can reapply at any time, albeit with a reset in their academic progress.
