According to a recent announcement on their official site, the Lunar New Year event offers players exclusive gifts, a new collectible, and continuous discounts throughout the celebration. A highlight for participants is the opportunity to earn double money and RP from Nightclub activities, making it an efficient means to amass in-game currency. Furthermore, racing fans can also partake in select stunt races, which similarly reward double money and RP, alongside numerous incentives available during this final Lunar New Year event before the much-anticipated release of GTA VI.

In honor of the Year of the Snake, GTA Online is unveiling three brand new Lunar New Year Stunt Races as part of the Featured Series, available in Legion Square until February 12. These races incorporate a nitrous boost system, enhanced with festive fireworks and lanterns that add to the visual appeal. Participants in the Lunar New Year Stunt Races can expect to earn double money and RP, in addition to receiving an exclusive livery for the Penumbra FF, which is currently being offered at a 30% discount on the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, players can participate in the weekly challenge involving the Lunar New Year Stunt Races— where winning two stunt races in a multiplayer lobby will yield a reward of $100, 000 in-game currency. While these races are not exclusively limited to the three new maps, players will find it easy to join public lobbies featured in the current event lineup.

One of the standout features is the introduction of Yuanbao Collectibles, where players can earn $888 and 888 RP for each collectible found, with the final token rewarding an impressive $88, 888. In total, players can secure $119, 968 by locating all Yuanbao collectibles. Collecting these tokens also grants players a stylish Santo Capra Gold Snake outfit, along with various other free clothing items available simply by logging into the game.
