GTA Online has a tradition of incorporating regional celebrations such as Lunar New Year into its annual holiday roster. Last year’s festivities included a thrilling Year of the Dragon celebration, where players could earn dragon-themed masks and a lucrative log-in reward of GTA$188,888.
Exciting New Race Challenges for Players
According to the official Rockstar Games Newswire, this year’s Year of the Snake event introduces thrilling challenges that allow players to earn substantial rewards. Participants can compete in three new stunt races that accommodate up to 16 players each. These races are adorned with festive decorations, including colorful lanterns and fireworks to enhance the celebratory atmosphere. By completing at least two of these races during the first week of the event, players can secure GTA$100,000. Furthermore, entering any of the races will grant players a unique Lunar New Year livery for the Maibatsu Penumbra FF, delivered within 72 hours of race participation, provided it occurs by February 12. Additionally, participants will benefit from double GTA$ and RP throughout the event.

Exclusive Cosmetic Rewards and Collectibles
During the Lunar New Year event, players have the opportunity to don exclusive in-game attire themed around the Year of the Snake. Becoming available are various cosmetic login rewards, including the Black Snake Yogarishima Outfit, Red Serpent Leather Jacket, and multiple pendants and caps featuring snake motifs. In addition, players can hunt for 36 golden Yunbao collectibles scattered throughout Los Santos. Collecting these items not only rewards players with GTA$ and RP, but gathering them all will grant the ultimate cosmetic prize: the Gold Snake Santo Capra Outfit.
Beyond the decorative flair, players will reap rewards from their nightclub operations, earning double GTA$ from daily revenues and lucrative goods missions. The event also features a 30% discount on nightclub property purchases and upgrades, making it an excellent time for players to enhance their nightclubs.
