G.SKILL has officially launched its latest DDR5-6400 memory modules, boasting an impressive capacity of up to 96 GB. These advanced modules are designed to function flawlessly on both Intel Z890 and AMD X870 platforms, delivering exceptionally low latency performance.
Introducing G.SKILL’s Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Royal Series: High-Performance DDR5 Memory
Recognized as a leader in the memory manufacturing sector, G.SKILL has recently unveiled its new DDR5 memory kits tailored for both Intel and AMD systems. These kits are specifically engineered for demanding applications and high-performance computing environments, ensuring enhanced overall performance.

The memory kits offer up to 48 GB per module and are available in a dual-module configuration (2x 48 GB) compatible with the Intel LGA 1851 and the AMD AM5 platforms. These kits achieve a remarkable transfer speed of 6400 MT/s and a low latency of CL30, thereby providing a significant performance enhancement compared to standard DIMM modules.
To meet the varied needs of mainstream and enthusiast users alike, G.SKILL structures these offerings into two series: the Trident Z5 RGB and the Trident Z5 Royal. For those utilizing Intel technology, the modules feature Intel XMP 3.0 support, making it easy to access the 6400 MT/s performance by simply enabling the XMP 3.0 option in the BIOS. Furthermore, G.SKILL showcases an impressive CAS Latency specification of CL30-39-39-102 for the 96 GB configuration at 6400 MT/s.

A practical setup using these memory modules includes an ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero motherboard paired with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor, as illustrated in the accompanying screenshot. Similarly, configurations featuring the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero along with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor on the AMD AM5 platform can achieve equivalent speed and latency.

Besides the flagship 2x 48 GB kits, G.SKILL will also introduce a variety of configurations, including 2x 32 GB (totaling 64 GB) and 2x 24 GB (totaling 48 GB), providing budget-friendly options for those building high-performance PCs.
According to G.SKILL’s latest announcement, both the Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Royal series memory modules are expected to start shipping to partners in Q1 2025. While specific pricing and availability dates haven’t been revealed yet, G.SKILL assures global availability of these sought-after memory kits.
