G.Skill has launched a range of DDR5 6000 MT/s memory kits, available in their premium Trident Z5 Royal Neo RGB, Trident Z5 Neo RGB, and Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB series.
Introducing G.Skill’s DDR5 6000 RAM Kits: Tailored for Ryzen 9000 and X870 Motherboards
Recently, G.Skill unveiled its latest DDR5 memory solutions designed specifically for the AM5 platform and Ryzen 9000 processors. The new RAM kits come in multiple capacities including 16 GB, 32 GB, and 48 GB, boasting ultra-low latencies for optimal performance on AMD systems. Notably, these memory sticks can achieve timings as low as CL26 while running at an impressive speed of 6000 MT/s.
These innovative memory kits are categorized under different product families—Trident Z5 Royal Neo RGB, Trident Z5 Neo RGB, and Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB. With AMD EXPO technology integrated, G.Skill ensures that users can attain high frequencies coupled with minimal latency for enhanced system capabilities. The company claims that it has successfully reached DDR5-6000 at CL26 with configurations of both 2x 16 GB and 2x 32 GB RAM kits.
The 2x 32 GB memory kit sets a milestone as the world’s first 64 GB kit to achieve a CL26 timing specification, paired with CL26-36-36-96 timings. For those requiring even more capacity, the 2x 48 GB configuration also reaches 6000 MT/s but operates at slightly relaxed CL28-36-36-96 timings. G.Skill has provided visual proof showing these timings in use with the CPU-Z application alongside memory frequency readings.
However, it’s essential to note that achieving these remarkable timings is contingent upon compatibility with select X870 motherboards. The impressive results were recorded utilizing the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard paired with the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X CPU. While the exact number of X870/X870E motherboard models supporting 6000 MT/s at these timings is unclear, it is anticipated that most high-end boards will meet this capability.
The 2x 16 GB and 2x 32 GB kits are adeptly suited for everyday users, including gamers and office professionals, while the 2x 48 GB kit is specifically aimed at content creators and industry professionals who require substantial memory (up to 96 GB) for demanding tasks. All kits offer seamless AMD EXPO support for effortless overclocking right out of the box and are set to be available for shipping globally later this month.
