Detective Lois, accompanied by her unconventional partner Sister Megan, is determined to track down the elusive serial killer wreaking havoc in their cherished town. When she stumbles upon a potential clue regarding Mr. Grotesquerie in the form of coordinates hidden in a wooden box, she is quick to investigate further, with Sister Megan enthusiastically tagging along during their escapade in Episode 4.

Within this dark setting, they discover a fire pit that symbolizes both a literal and figurative descent into hell. By the conclusion of Episode 4, the duo is attempting to flee the burning town when they are abruptly halted by a bloodied woman on the highway who ominously warns, “He is coming.”

The teaser for Episode 5 showcases Detective Lois and Sister Megan frantically searching for a sanctuary. Sister Megan expresses her uncertainty by asking, “Do you think we’re safe here?”As paranoia sets in, she spots a man dressed entirely in black menacingly observing them from afar and comments:

“I think there’s somebody out there.”
