Dominick Reyes aims to redeem himself after four consecutive losses in the UFC
Despite being undefeated with a record of 12-0, Dominick Reyes’ career in the UFC has been perceived by many fans as one of the most peculiar. He entered UFC 247 as a former light heavyweight champion but has been unable to secure a victory since then.
Despite many modern UFC fans believing that Reyes may have dethroned Jon Jones in February 2020, the official decision gave Jones his third title defense during his second championship reign and marked Reyes’ first professional loss by unanimous decision.
Despite gaining fans with his loss, Reyes has faced challenges in bouncing back as he has suffered consecutive knockouts in fights against Jan Blachowicz, Jiri Prochazka, and Ryan Spann.
Following his defeat to Spann, Reyes revealed that his next fight would be postponed due to injuries and recent health concerns that he had successfully overcome.
Reyes is currently seeking his first victory in the octagon since his 2019 knockout of Chris Weidman, as he prepares to make his return to the cage.
