Grayson Waller speaks out on “controversial finish” to his match on SmackDown

Despite the outcome of their match against the Street Profits on the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE Superstars Grayson Waller and Austin Theory do not believe there was any controversy involved.

This week’s episode of the blue brand featured a highly-anticipated tag team match between Waller and Theory and the Street Profits. The stakes were high, as the winning team would advance to The Show of Shows. The match was evenly matched, but during a crucial moment, the cameras panned backstage to reveal an attack on Bobby Lashley and B-Fab by Karrion Kross and Scarlett. This unexpected distraction caused Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins to lose focus, ultimately leading to Theory securing a pinfall victory over Ford.

WWE correspondent Byron Saxton caught up with A-Town Down Under on this week’s episode of SmackDown LowDown. The Moment Maker asserted that their victory was earned legitimately. Grayson Waller also noted that the Street Profits were targeted due to their habit of trash-talking other factions.

“We’re going to WrestleMania, baby!… What about the disrespect from you? Controversial fashion? Oh what, because the Street Profits go around saying mean things to people. We’re polite, great blokes, and now we’re getting rewarded because we’re about to be tag team champs at WrestleMania. How’s that sound, idiot?”Grayson Waller said. [1:45 – 2:07]

The outcome of A-Town Down Under’s performance at The Show of Shows will determine if they can overcome the odds and claim the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
