Despite the impressive current rankings, the Enhanced version still has a considerable journey ahead to surpass the original’s all-time peak player count on Steam. Back on April 19, 2015, Grand Theft Auto 5 reached a staggering peak of over 364, 000 concurrent players, making it the thirty-second highest peak overall. Meanwhile, the Enhanced version recorded just over 187, 000 concurrent players on its release day, March 4. However, with the weekend approaching, there is a promising chance that it could exceed this record soon.
