Polyphony Digital has unveiled the latest update for Gran Turismo 7, designated as version 1.56. This free update will be accessible to players on both PS5 and PS4 platforms, further enhancing the gaming experience with exciting new content.
Since its launch in 2022, Gran Turismo 7 has captivated racing enthusiasts with an impressive array of vehicles and tracks spanning the globe. The developers have consistently rolled out updates to keep the game fresh and engaging, and this latest update is no exception.
Set to go live at 10 p.m. PST (Wednesday), 11 p.m. MST (Wednesday), 12 a.m. CST (Thursday), and 1 a.m. EST (Thursday), players can download update 1.56. This update, although minor, brings noteworthy additions, including three new cars: the BMW Z4 3.0i of 2003, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411 from 1962, and the Peugeot 205 GTI from 1988. Players can acquire these vehicles from various in-game locations, such as Brand Central, Used Cars, and Legends Cars, all featuring authentic designs that reflect the essence of their real-world counterparts.
Additionally, car customization fans will appreciate the introduction of a new base color option for the Mazda 3 Gr.4, which can be found in the Mazda showroom. Players can also look forward to enjoying a fresh Peugeot Cafe Menu that will be featured in the “Extra” section. The update introduces several new World Circuit events, including:

- European Sunday Cup 400: Grand Valley – South Reverse
- European FR Challenge 550: Autodrome Lago Maggiore – East
In a significant advancement for gameplay, the GT Sophy racing AI – an innovative AI designed to learn and adapt during races – is now available on new courses through the Quick Race menu. GT Sophy showcases impressive capabilities, responding to gameplay dynamics and making sophisticated racing decisions, making each race more competitive and enjoyable.





At this time, Gran Turismo 7 remains exclusively available on PlayStation platforms. Although there were indications of a potential PC version, reports have surfaced indicating that development has been canceled, leaving fans without further information.
