Latest GPU-Z Update: Version 2.66.0 Enhances Graphics Card Database

TechPowerUp’s GPU-Z, a widely used utility for PC hardware monitoring, has undergone a significant update. This application is favored by PC enthusiasts for its lightweight design and intuitive interface, which effectively displays comprehensive hardware details. Specifically designed to detect and present GPU information, GPU-Z is compatible with both desktop and laptop systems.

The newly released GPU-Z version 2.66.0 expands its compatibility to include the latest offerings from both AMD and NVIDIA. This update introduces support for the recently launched NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics cards, along with variations designed for both desktop and mobile platforms. Additionally, the RTX 5070 mobile variant has been incorporated into the database, addressing a previous gap in GPU recognition.

Newly Supported GPUs in Version 2.66.0

  • Support for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, RTX 5070 Ti Mobile, RTX 5070 Mobile, RTX 5060 Mobile, RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell, and Quadro RTX 5000 (TU104-B).

Among the new inclusions, the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT has generated considerable interest, having been showcased at Computex. Although it has yet to hit retail markets, its accurate detection and detailed specs will be available through GPU-Z v2.66.0 once it is released. Notably, the Radeon RX 9060 XT utilizes the NAVI 44 architecture, featuring 2048 Stream Processors and offering memory configurations of 8 GB or 16 GB, with a 128-bit memory bus.

In addition to the newly supported RX 9060 XT and RTX 5060, the update also enhances support for NVIDIA’s premier workstation GPU, the RTX Pro 6000, which is equipped with the advanced GB202 chip also found in the GeForce RTX 5090. Notably, the RTX Pro 6000 boasts a remarkable memory capacity of 96 GB GDDR7, significantly higher than the 32 GB in standard variants.
