Google’s AI Ultra for Business boosts Workspace with cutting-edge AI and next-generation tools

Introduction of Google AI Ultra for Business

Google has officially unveiled the Google AI Ultra for Business, an advanced add-on designed for Workspace users that provides access to cutting-edge AI tools and premium models. This initiative is aimed at empowering organizations by granting priority accessibility to the most sophisticated models available in the Gemini application, including Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 3, and Deep Research. Furthermore, users can expect to utilize Deep Think in the near future.

Enhanced Features and Capabilities

The introduction of AI Ultra for Business comes with notable enhancements to DictionaryLM, increasing usage limits and providing access to the latest models set to launch later this year. Subscribers will enjoy improved quotas for Audio Overviews, notebooks, queries, and sources per notebook while also having the option to customize notebook styles and response lengths.

Integration Across Google Workspace

Organizations enrolled in Business or Enterprise Standard and Plus plans will benefit from Gemini’s capabilities, which are already integrated within various Workspace applications, including Gmail, Docs, and Sheets.

Innovative Tools for Creative Teams

Creative professionals will find new functionalities introduced in Flow, Google’s AI filmmaking suite. This tool harnesses Veo 3 and premium features to create consistent, cinematic segments from reference images. Additionally, subscribers will have access to Whisk, a dual text-and-image prompt tool designed for exploring and visualizing ideas. Whisk Animate, another innovative feature, transforms still images into eight-second video clips using Veo 2.

Project Mariner: Streamlining Tasks

In the U. S., the opportunity to engage with Project Mariner introduces a research prototype where users can assign AI agents specific tasks such as research and data entry simultaneously in the background, enhancing productivity further.

Privacy and Security Measures

Google affirms that all core services accessed via the Google AI Ultra for Business (including Gemini in Workspace, the Gemini app, and NotebookLM) are safeguarded by enterprise-grade data protections as outlined in the Google Workspace Terms of Service. Critical to maintaining user trust, no human review will occur on user content, nor will it be used to train Google’s generative models outside of the user’s domain without explicit consent. It’s also worth noting that Flow, Whisk, and Project Mariner operate under their own distinct privacy policies, which clients are encouraged to review.

Availability and Licensing

Starting on June 26, 2025, organizations utilizing Business Starter, Standard and Plus, and Enterprise Starter, Standard and Plus plans will be able to self-service purchase this add-on. Each license will include 12, 500 AI credits per month applicable for use in Flow, Whisk, and other products that require credits.

Access and Future Plans

Access to Google AI Ultra for Business varies by country and feature; thus, users should consult the Workspace Help Centre for detailed information. Google also intends to extend the availability of Google AI Ultra for Business to G Suite Legacy Free Edition and Education clients in the upcoming weeks.
