Gemini in Chrome is compatible with Windows, Mac, and iOS for users within the Workspace ecosystem who have the Gemini app integrated as a core service. According to recent updates from Google, any user in the U. S.aged 18 or older, with English set as their language on compatible devices, can access Gemini in Chrome.

While the Gemini assistant is activated by default, Workspace administrators have the option to disable it. This can be achieved by turning off the Gemini app service setting or the Chrome Gemini setting at various levels, such as domain, organizational unit, or group. Furthermore, usage data for Gemini in Chrome will be aggregated with the Gemini app usage and can be monitored through the Admin Console under Generative AI > Gemini Reports.
