Furthermore, users can delve into long-term trends related to human well-being, with content sourced from the Our World in Data initiative affiliated with Oxford University.
Rising Popularity of Shared Notebooks
This new feature builds on the functionality that allows users to share their NotebookLM collections publicly, a feature that was launched just last month. In fact, over the last four weeks, more than 140, 000 notebooks have been publicly shared, highlighting the growing community engaged in this resource.
The Evolution of NotebookLM
For those unfamiliar, NotebookLM is an AI-driven research and note-taking tool that originated as Project Tailwind. Launched as an experimental platform in 2023, it has undergone numerous updates to expand its features and functionalities, making it more accessible and useful to users.
Recent enhancements include support for YouTube videos, web search capabilities, support for multiple languages, and the introduction of Video Overviews, which enrich AI-generated summaries with visual content. Earlier this year, NotebookLM also expanded its reach to Android and iOS platforms.
