One standout feature is “Ask Home, ”which serves as a central AI capability accessible via the new header navigation of the app. Users can effectively utilize voice or text commands to explore smart home features, set up complex automations, search their video history, and manage multiple devices concurrently.
Integration and Support for Nest Devices
Notably, the capabilities of the Nest app are being integrated into the Google Home app with every update. This now includes comprehensive support for Nest Protect devices, Nest x Yale locks, and Nest Thermostats launched in 2015 or later, ensuring a seamless experience across platforms.
