Enabling Smart Features
For users to take advantage of the Gemini nudges, Workspace administrators must first enable the smart features within their environment. It is worth noting that these features are currently disabled by default in regions such as Europe and Japan. Even with the smart features enabled, end users may not immediately see the nudges. The visibility of these nudges is contingent on the specific content present in users’ Drives. Rollout Timeline and Availability
According to Google, the rapid rollout of nudges began on March 24th for Workspaces operating under the Rapid Release domain, while users on the Scheduled Release domain can expect to gain access starting April 24th. This feature is available to customers under various plans, including Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, as well as users who possess the Gemini Education or Gemini Education Premium add-on, Google One AI Premium, or those who have previously purchased Gemini Business or Jacobi Enterprise.
