Google Docs will now let users add a page break before paragraphs on mobile devices

Google Workspace has announced that the ability to add page breaks before paragraphs in Google Docs is now available on mobile devices . Last year, the same feature was announced for the Internet. Now that it’s also available on mobile devices, users will be able to take advantage of the enhanced features of Google Docs.

With the update, users will now be able to “mark a paragraph so it always starts on a new page” using the “Add Page Break Before” option in Google Docs. The new feature will be useful in cases where users “want certain paragraph styles to always create a new page, such as headings, subtitles, or headings.”

The latest update will also allow Google Workspace users to import and export Microsoft Word and other third-party documents that have “Page Break Before” applied to paragraphs, and Docs will retain that formatting. This means that users won’t have to go through the hassle of re-editing text when working with different documents containing headings, subheadings, and headings.

The latter feature is available by default for both Android and iOS, as well as all Google Workspace customers, as well as G Suite Basic and Business users. You can also visit the Help Center for more information on paragraph styles in Docs .
