Nearly a year has passed since Google first announced its Find My Device network. However, the network experienced delays as Google awaited the completion of the implementation by Apple. Google’s Find My Device Network Set to Launch on April 7th
Today, Google initiated the process of sending emails to notify users about the upcoming launch of the Find My Device network. However, it seems that only a small number of users have received the email, leaving uncertainty regarding whether all users will have access to the feature. This raises questions as to why Google would launch the network for only certain users, but it is possible that the company is conducting a test.
The email reads as follows,
With the new Find My Device network, you’ll be able to locate your devices even if they’re offline. You can also find any compatible Fast Pair accessories when they’re disconnected from your device. This includes compatible earbuds and headphones, and trackers that you can attach to your wallet, keys, or bike.
You’ll get a notification on your Android devices when this feature is turned on in 3 days. Until then, you can opt out of the network through Find My Device on the web.
