Exciting New Stickers Feature in Google Chat
Google Chat users can now elevate their conversations with a vibrant array of stickers. This new feature is designed to enhance self-expression, complementing existing options like emojis and GIFs. Accessible through both the Google Chat web application and the Chat tab in Gmail, stickers offer an additional way for users to convey emotions and ideas.
Availability and Access
This feature will roll out to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual Subscribers, and those utilizing personal Google accounts. As of now, stickers are available to Rapid Release domains, while Scheduled Release domains will see a gradual rollout over a span of up to 15 days starting from October 2. Users with personal Google accounts can access stickers immediately.

How to Use Stickers
All end users will find this feature enabled by default. To use stickers, simply open a direct message or space on your computer and click the “add GIF or Sticker” icon located in the message field. Notably, there are no administrative controls to disable this feature, ensuring that it remains accessible even in managed environments.

Recent Developments in Google Services
This sticker feature debuted alongside a significant enhancement to Gmail: end-to-end encrypted emailing. Although encrypted emails have historically posed challenges, Google now offers a solution through client-side encryption (CSE).This allows users to send secure, encrypted messages to any recipient, who will receive a notification prompting them to view the message via a guest account. This innovation simplifies secure communications without the necessity of exchanging keys or relying on specialized software.
