  • Bug 724745 – Fixed an issue where new transactions added during reconciliation were not visible in the reconcile window.
  • Bug 797045 – Enhanced error reporting for bad credentials in the MySQL backend, changing “bad or corrupt data”to “access denied.”
  • Bug 798568 – Resolved a problem with transaction copy/paste functionality.
  • Bug 799308 – Addressed an error in the SQLite backend where a sample Python script would fail when creating a new file.
  • Bug 799370 – Corrected cursor placement in the transaction journal view after committing a transaction change.
  • Bug 799384 – Fixed an issue where reconciled dates could not be parsed.
  • Bug 799389 – Resolved a crash when attempting to remove an account.
  • Bug 799391 – Fixed a transaction cut/paste issue that did not transfer the transaction to the desired account.
  • Bug 799395 – Corrected occasional errors in relative date offset for quarters.
  • Bug 799399 – Fixed a decimal locale error with the Windows keypad.
  • Bug 799416 – Adjusted the post invoice dropdown listbox size for better usability.
  • Bug 799419 – Fixed an intermittent issue with quote prices.

Additional enhancements beyond bug fixes:

  • Introduced YH Finance (FINANCEAPI) API Key to Quotes infrastructure, with a preference now available in the Online Quotes page.
  • Modified copied_class and copied_leader_guid for improved structure within copied_item.
  • Enhanced the CSV date parser using ICU and Boost for better date recognition.
  • Added “Locale”dateformat with ICU, allowing parsing of dates according to the current locale.
  • Augmented date parsing capabilities for various date formats like “30 Sep 2023″and “May 4, 1978”. Note that 2-digit years are not recognized.
  • Improved the Csv Import assistant’s introductory interface.
  • Ensured uncommitted edits are correctly handled when opening files from history.
  • Deprecated gnc_difftime due to potential issues with time64 casting.
  • Removed unused components from the price database header file.
  • Updated translations for numerous languages, including Assamese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Dutch, English (UK), Hebrew, Hungarian, Macedonian, Norwegian Bokmål, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.
