Charleston White Blames Rappers for Kamala Harris’ Election Loss

Social media figure Charleston White recently attributed the defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 US Presidential elections to prominent rappers Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and GloRilla. The announcement of Harris’s loss to Donald Trump was made on Wednesday, November 6, stirring significant conversation and controversy across social media platforms.

In a live-streamed video from November 7, White criticized Harris for allegedly failing to support Black women effectively, suggesting her campaign choices contributed to her loss.

“She doesn’t care for Black women because she did not include a single Black woman on her platform. Instead, she chose those who perform and flaunt their bodies instead of engaging with intelligent conversation,”he asserted.

“She brought in GloRilla to talk about inappropriate topics, and enlisted Cardi B, who is known for her complicated personal life. Furthermore, she invited Megan Thee Stallion, whom he deemed as morally questionable,”White continued.

Expressing satisfaction over Trump’s victory, White remarked that the election results reflected a return to what he refers to as “their president.”He did not shy away from sharing his personal feelings about the turnout.

Endorsements and Appearances by Notable Rappers

Despite Charleston White’s criticisms, rappers Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and GloRilla supported Kamala Harris during her campaign. Notably, Stallion and GloRilla made appearances at rallies in Atlanta and Milwaukee, respectively, while Cardi B voiced her support at a key event in Milwaukee.

In a viral video released in July 2024, White proclaimed that he would never cast a vote for a Black woman to lead the United States. This proclamation surfaced following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race, which led to his endorsement of Harris.

“They got me messed up. I wouldn’t vote for any Black woman. Raised by Black women myself, I respect them, but I refuse to support a Black woman in the position of Commander-in-Chief,”he claimed.

Furthermore, White controversially stated that he would prefer civil unrest or a return to a historical time of slavery than see a Black woman lead the nation.

“I as a Black American WOULD NEVER VOTE FOR A BLACK WOMAN OR A MIXED, BLACK WOMAN! I’d rather have a White man or a descendant of slaves as president,”he expressed in another video post.

In May 2024, White formally endorsed Donald Trump, sharing a photograph featuring himself next to a flag that boldly declared, “Trump 2024 I’ll Be Back.”
