A recently spotted unannounced RDNA 4 GPU indicates that its release might be imminent, garnering significant interest within the tech community.
Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB GPU Listed by Brazilian Retailer TerabyteShop
Just two days prior, we witnessed NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 5060 appearing on a retail platform, and today, the spotlight shifts to the Radeon RX 9060 XT—the first in AMD’s RDNA 4 series aimed at the 60-class segment. While AMD has yet to make any official announcement regarding this GPU, various industry reports have confirmed its existence.
Gigabyte, one of AMD’s board partners, seems prepared to introduce custom variants of the RX 9060 XT. A Gaming OC edition was briefly listed on the Brazilian retailer TerabyteShop before the page was taken down. Thankfully, Videocardz managed to capture a screenshot showcasing the GPU’s design and key specifications.

This new GPU is equipped with a substantial 16 GB VRAM setup, aligning with recent disclosures. AMD, much like NVIDIA, is anticipated to release both a 16 GB and an 8 GB version of the RX 9060 XT. Although rumors had once hinted at the potential cancellation of the 8 GB variant, recent updates suggest that AMD is prioritizing the 16 GB version but has not outright eliminated the lower memory option.
The Gigabyte Gaming OC edition features an advanced triple-fan design along with a single 8-pin power connector. Gigabyte recommends a power supply with a capacity of at least 850W for optimal performance. Reports indicate that the GPU is expected to have a Thermal Design Power (TDP) rating of around 200W. Additionally, it will include two DisplayPort 2.1a and two HDMI 2.1a outputs, allowing support for configurations that can power up to four monitors simultaneously.

Based on earlier leaks, the RX 9060 XT is slated to utilize the NAVI 44 die, which comprises 2, 048 Stream Processors. It will be paired with a 128-bit memory interface suitable for accommodating both the 8 GB and 16 GB memory configurations. At this stage, these details represent our current understanding of the GPU, and we are still awaiting a credible announcement regarding its official launch date.
The anticipated debut of the RX 9060 XT is expected to coincide with Computex, scheduled for May 20-23. This positions the GPU’s unveiling to be approximately two weeks away. Simultaneously, NVIDIA plans to launch its RTX 5060 at a price point of $299 the day before Computex begins. Given that the RX 9060 XT 16 GB will compete with the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, a pricing forecast of around $400 seems likely.
