As the graphics card market heats up, fresh iterations from both AMD and NVIDIA are on the horizon. Recent registrations from leading board partners indicate that new Radeon and GeForce models are on their way to consumers.
Upcoming Releases: Gigabyte and MSI Set to Launch RTX 5060 Ti and Radeon RX 9060 XT Cards
Both AMD and NVIDIA are making significant strides towards releasing their next-generation 60-class graphics cards. While NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 series has received considerable attention, there has been less buzz around AMD’s RX 9060 series. However, a recent leak by the user @harukaze5719 offers fresh insights into these upcoming products.
According to information sourced from the South Korean Radio Research Agency (RRA), Gigabyte has registered two variants of the Radeon RX 9060 XT GPUs: the Gaming and Gaming OC editions, with configurations available in both 16 GB and 8 GB of memory. Additionally, ASUS has also listed similar variants of the RX 9060 XT, suggesting that a launch of these GPUs is imminent.

On the NVIDIA side, Gigabyte has similarly registered multiple models of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, featuring seven distinct 16 GB variants, including Gaming, AERO, AORUS, WindForce, and Eagle editions. MSI is also in the mix, preparing nine different iterations of the RTX 5060 Ti, all equipped with 16 GB memory. While the 8 GB versions have not yet been detailed, it’s likely they will be released alongside their 16 GB counterparts on launch day, given the typical trends among AIBs (Add-In Board partners).

Both the RTX 5060 Ti and the RX 9060 XT are positioned to compete aggressively within the entry-level segment. The RTX 5060 Ti will be powered by the GB206 die and is estimated to house 4608 CUDA Cores. Pricing for the NVIDIA card is expected to fall around $399 for the 8 GB variant and $499 for the 16 GB version. In contrast, the RX 9060 XT is anticipated to be priced competitively, likely below its NVIDIA rivals, although official figures remain unconfirmed at this stage.
Speculation suggests that the RX 9060 XT will leverage the Navi 44 die and mirror the RTX 5060 Ti’s 128-bit memory bus width. The NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti is slated for launch on May 15th, coinciding with its retail availability. Meanwhile, though no definitive date has been announced for the RX 9060 XT release, it is expected to debut in the second quarter of this year, likely shortly after the RTX 5060 Ti becomes available.
