As Destro discloses more about the plan, Cobra Commander cuts in to caution him about a potential spy lurking among them. Clutch, a member of G.I. Joe, was unveiled as an infiltrator posing as a Cobra Viper at the conclusion of the previous issue, which initially leads readers to suspect him. However, a real twist surfaces when a double agent from the concealed Cobra-La society makes an unexpected move against Cobra Commander, only to be swiftly subdued by the Commander’s cybernetic hand.
While the specifics of Cobra’s ambitions remain elusive, the components of Cobra Commander’s overarching strategy indicate intriguing developments on the horizon. Following his acquisition of the Dreadnoks’ resource base in Louisiana, the Commander has already demonstrated his ability to weaponize Transformers technology with lethal efficiency.
