The journey begins at a shrine nestled in the far western section of the Tokachi Range. Make your way to the shrine’s location, where you will find a note affixed to a tree, accompanied by a nearby straw basket.

Locating the Three Blue Flowers

Climbing to the Shrine’s Summit

The note contains a somewhat cryptic clue, indicating your mission to find blue petals on the shrine trail. Your first step is to scale the shrine itself.

No blue flowers can be found on the ascent to the shrine’s peak. Simply follow the path provided to reach the top.

Once you arrive at the shrine, remember to pray and collect the charm located there. Look to your left to discover two rock trails leading down to a pond—this is where you will gather all three blue flowers required for the quest.

Gathering the Blue Flowers of Forgiveness

Upon reaching the pond area, you’ll find all three blue flowers within this small location, so let’s collect them quickly!

For the first flower, turn to your right and locate a waterfall. At the ridge next to it, you will discover your initial blue flower.

Next, to find the second flower, hop across to the opposite side of the pond. Look for a flower nestled between two rock formations in the area, as depicted in the image above.

Lastly, the third flower is located on the left amongst the trees. You should be able to see it clearly from a distance.

With all three blue flowers gathered, it’s time to return to the shrine’s base. While you might be tempted to fast travel or take the exit by the shrine, there’s a more thrilling route you can take.

You can leap from the top of the shrine into the water below. Don’t worry; the fall is safe! Regardless of your chosen method back, you should locate the basket and the note, now accompanied by a man playing a flute.
