A prime example is the new quest titled The Claws Are Out, which allows players an opportunity to acquire the adorable Toe Bean Mittens gear. However, this fantastic reward is only available for a limited time, so let’s explore how to efficiently complete this event quest and secure this unique piece of armor.
Completing the Claws Are Out Event Quest
To get started, navigate to the menu and select Event Quests. From there, locate The Claws Are Out quest, which challenges players to hunt a Tempered Guardian Ebony Odagaron in its home area, Wyveria. Be prepared: the tempered variant is tougher than its regular counterpart, so approach with caution. Ensure you have an HR 31 rank or higher to enter the quest.
Before engaging, review the monster’s information under the Detailed Info tab in the quest menu. The Guardian Ebony Odagaron has a weakness to Water elemental damage and is susceptible to various traps and status effects, including Poison and Paralysis. Equip weapons that deal Water damage if possible to exploit its vulnerabilities.
It’s crucial to pack essential supplies for the hunt. Bring items like Mega Potions, Demondrug, and Armorskin, as well as curatives such as Sushifish Scales or Rations to combat Bleed effects.
Once you feel prepared, queue for the quest and consider equipping a Lucky Voucher for increased rewards. Don’t forget to select your preferred support hunters before heading into battle. As you track down the Guardian Ebony Odagaron, ensure you’ve got your buffs active, and then engage in combat.
While battling the Odagaron, watch out for its notorious status afflictions, primarily Bleed and Dragonblight. The Bleed status can diminish your health rapidly, so be vigilant. Dragonblight, on the other hand, nullifies all elemental attacks for around a minute but can be countered with Nulberries.
After successfully defeating the Odagaron, be sure to carve its body for valuable materials. Among your rewards, you should receive at least one Toe Bean Ticket, the key item needed to craft the highly sought-after Toe Bean Mittens.
