A much-debated event in the Pokémon TCG Pocket community is staging a return, prompting discussions among players about the challenges involved in acquiring a newly introduced emblem. Over the last couple of months, it has become evident that Pokémon TCG Pocket is committed to a consistent pattern of events tied to each set’s launch. In addition to the intriguing Wonder Pick and Mass Outbreak events, which revolve around collecting specific card types, several previously established battle events have also made a reappearance. Players can earn rewards that include emblems for achieving set milestones in these contests.

Emblem and Mission Rewards

This event allows players to earn up to four distinct emblems by establishing a winning streak against opponents. The initial emblem is awarded after securing two victories, while the most prestigious emblem is given after achieving five consecutive wins. In addition, participants can tackle various missions that reward them with a total of 24 Pack Hourglasses. To optimize success, players are encouraged to join the event early when competition may still be less formidable, as many will likely be experimenting with weaker decks.

Our Perspective: Emblems as a Reward for Skill

In all fairness, the backlash against the SP Emblem event seems somewhat exaggerated. Personally, I completed both the Genetic Apex and the current Mythical Island SP Emblem events on the very first day, aided by several players conceding in the early rounds. Many participants were graciously offering concessions, and there were quite a few using underpowered decks.
For players equipped with a strong deck, successfully navigating this latest Pokémon TCG Pocket event should be manageable. Even if victories elude you, be sure to engage in additional battles to secure the Pack Hourglass rewards available.
